Intro 02:08
You’re tired, your past weighs you down Worn as a heavy crown It lacerates your mind and memories It gets so loud in there You want to shake The thorns off your skin Before it’s too late Escape this place, but I Can’t follow you I am shackled I must stay This place it wears you down If you don’t go you’ll drown Ahead you wish to build new memories You have a chance out there You run to the sun To hope and a new life Watching your silhouette I am left behind to Wait, I will wait For the dust and ash to clear ‘Til then I will sing But I don’t think you can hear

The wolf howls to the moon His song surpasses all the clatter It feels so lonesome here in the cold That he will hide when he cries In these woods of liars They say that ignorance is bliss But you feel so invisible I will seek, I will follow Hush now, I can give you some hope I can hold you in my hands I’m here, don’t be scared I will rinse the tears away On this full moon When you fall from the sky Can you hear me call your name Salty ocean waves sweep you away The tide’s rising, the shore’s sinking Hush now, it’s not too late I can tilt the hourglass Though the sand slips through your fingers It’ll buy you some time Don’t be fooled by the reflection Of the moon in the ripples Were you there when it turned blue I think you drowned in sorrow’s sea Hush now, don’t let your mazes grow Or they’ll consume your tired soul I’m here, where are you I can pacify the pain Of your blue moon

In a world of wood and mechanical life Was a girl with her heart exposed to the wild She just wanted to protect it and stay alive Scavenging through the junkyard day and night To find a shield for the gears inside her chest Met a boy sifting through the mess He raised his arm and waved With no hand to say “hello dear” Two broken bodies seeking to be whole So she found him five new digits While he uncovered a breastplate As he bent and welded it over her heart The trust it just grew They spent their days turning junk into toys to play And their nights in broken cars counting stars Wanting more than to just survive Then it rumbled deep within his chest She opened him expecting a small adjust But the mainspring corroded with red rust They searched high and low Before his clock ticked “goodbye dear” But rare are spare heartbeats, this we know From inside her breast she dug out the bits And gave him all she could donate When he woke up he saw her wind her heart The guilt quickly grew For now her heart could hold But the hole between gears made every crank echo He swore not to leave her hollow Scour all the yards to the edge of the world But she begged him to wait With time the spring could work for them both And she begged him to stay But he wanted her to feel whole He raised his hand and waved With a smile to say “I’ll be back dear” But it’s been ten years And her heart has never beat the same

We spent the day in Margaret Falls Surrounded by trees and rushing waters Lost in this chasm so far removed from the world We saw each other in the light of dawn We were alone here in the falls Hidden deep from all harsh truths of life That’s when I noticed my heartbeat and your smile You never looked at me the same again For a time we belonged to each other But only for a while ‘Cause time is a cruel joke It takes what it gives Let’s cheat and hide from its eyes You held me close beneath the falls In your arms I was safe and full of hope But then the sun set and you were ripped away from me Leaving me with a hole where my heart once beat But then the sun set and you were ripped away from me Leaving me with a hole where my heart once beat Now I’m locked out of Margaret Falls Without so much a sign from you With every sigh a whisper of your name haunts me You’re a ghost in my lungs my breaths are so heavy For a time we belonged to each other But only for a while ‘Cause time is a cruel joke It takes what it gives This can’t be our goodbye Please take me back to Margaret Falls I only ask for one more day with you

We are safe at night When the moon’s in the sky We are safe at night When the stars sail up high Little vampire hearts Waiting for the sun to sleep for hours To feed, to run, to play And watch the village lights fade From their cave they could hear music and laughter The joys of those with beating hearts They ran down and stuck to the shadows For a glimpse of what they yearned We are safe at night When the moon’s in the sky We are safe at night When the stars sail up high Little vampire hearts Sneaking through the village streets and alleys To watch, to learn, to listen Wishing for parents of their own As they huddled near windows They spied on mothers and fathers tucking children in beds They never knew the feeling of warmth But there was love beneath the cold We are safe at night When the moon’s in the sky We are safe at night When the stars sail up high Little vampire hearts You’ve been spotted Now the mob is forming To scream, to hunt, to kill Run fast back to your hole With their torches alight full of hate They search the woods and find your cave Your flesh burns but there’s no escape From their fear of the unknown We are safe at night When the moon’s in the sky We are safe at night When the stars sail up high

Storm Chaser 04:51
I am patient, I am calm I'm your anchor, like you say A lifeline in the changing tides And crashing waves Torrid oceans, cloudy skies Winds on the rise, thunder groans But you see thrills not bad omens So you rush ahead You hold my hand, but won't let go Yet you chase storms, not what you know I am on your shore Wading through shallows As the sun sets Tangled in nets, lost at sea When you're shipwrecked you call for me To drain the water from your lungs And ease your ache My oceans are also deep Filled with wonders to make you smile But every time you test the water There's love and fear You're curious but unsure You hold my hand, but won't take a chance You'd rather chase storms than what's real I am on your shore Wading through shallows As the moon sinks

Interlude 01:19
The sun has set and stays down While I still hold your crown But it’s not mine; it taints my memories I’ll leave it over there Since you’ve been gone I’ve been collecting Pieces of myself To fill this hole as I Wait, as I wait For the dust and ash to clear ‘Til then, I will sing But it’s not for you, my dear

There once was a man in the stars He lived alone with stitched up scars A hermit’s life suited him just fine A life with planets and all that shines One day a star was leaving his sky A hollow where it once burned bright "Why are you leaving ?" he asked with unrest It said, "My constellation is drifting out west." "But there is a hole I cannot accept, Fix the design or I’ll be upset." His world a balanced web of sattelites "My friends are leaving, I must take flight." Thus there was an empty space in between His rational and emotional scene He hoped with time a new star would grow in But contrary lessons were on his skin Inside was a hole he could not accept A flaw in his design since the day he left A world of broken promises and lies But with beautiful smiles and fireflies And so he broke through the atmosphere Tired of hiding from all he feared He landed in a meadow of snow white With constellations shinging the night Ahead he went into the unknown His footsteps the first ones in the snow Life’s scary when there are shadows to face But it’s always darker and colder in space

She found a boy in the mountains The mist settled around him Across her distance travelled She melted and unravelled Laid out bare and open Her want was never spoken Beneath the falls on their last day He held her and wished she could stay But she couldn’t Life called her away With all the hope she held and knew She needed time to reveal the truth ‘Cause in her silence she would ache To know if he could feel the same And so she waited for many days ‘Til he somehow found a way Into her arms to speak the words That she yearned to hear to clear the blurs He found a girl in the city She stilled the noise and his heartbeat Across his distance travelled He knew peace when she smiled His admiration grew to love Her eyes a thing he dreamed of Where had she been all this time He wondered almost every night He couldn’t wait What if she slipped away With all the joy they ever knew Time finally revealed the truth ‘Cause with three words and an embrace Their lives were filled with each other’s grace And so they loved most every day Sharing their joy, secrets and pain Her life was better by his side But he had ghosts soon to rise He found a darkness within It crept up without warning Doubts and fears screamed in his mind His past regrets a confine Still she held and wanted The light and dark that was him Her faith no longer shaken To her all was forgiven But he couldn’t Let her bear his burden With all the hope he felt he knew He needed time to reveal the truth ‘Cause in these ghosts there was a pain He had to face to know love again And so he left to find a path Alone for answers that would last Leaving her broken on the floor He feared his exit had shut the door She fell for the boy from the mountains He cried for the girl from the city He hits the road to find the crack Can’t let his ghosts turn him to black Afraid of what he might become Won’t risk to watch her come undone With all the hope they never knew They prayed for time to reveal the truth ‘Cause in her loneliness she ached While he set off to mend his breaks And so she waited every day ‘Til he somehow found back his way Into her arms and speak the words That she longed to hear to stop the hurt ‘Cause he was more than a memory That she kept under lock and key And she was more than just a girl She was a light in his dim world With all the joy they ever knew Time finally revealed the truth ‘Cause with three words and an embrace Their lives were filled with each other’s grace And so they loved most every day Sharing their joy, secrets and pain Her life was better by his side But he had ghosts soon to rise He found a darkness within It crept up without warning Doubts and fears screamed in his mind His past regrets a confine Still she held and wanted The light and dark that was him Her faith no longer shaken To her all was forgiven But he couldn’t Let her bear his burden With all the hope he felt he knew He needed time to reveal the truth ‘Cause in these ghosts there was a pain He had to face to know love again And so he left to find a path Alone for answers that would last Leaving her broken on the floor He feared his exit had shut the door She fell for the boy from the mountains He cried for the girl from the city He hits the road to find the crack Can’t let his ghosts turn him to black Afraid of what he might become Won’t risk to watch her come undone With all the hope they never knew They prayed for time to reveal the truth ‘Cause in her loneliness she ached While he set off to mend his breaks And so she waited every day ‘Til he somehow found back his way Into her arms and speak the words That she longed to hear to stop the hurt ‘Cause he was more than a memory That she kept under lock and key And she was more than just a girl She was a light in his dim world She fell for the boy from the mountains He cried for the girl from the city He hits the road to find the crack Won’t let his ghosts turn him to black Afraid of what he might become Won’t risk to watch her come undone With all the hope they never knew They prayed for time to reveal the truth ‘Cause in her loneliness she ached While he set off to mend his breaks And so she waited every day ‘Til he somehow found back his way Into her arms to speak the words That she longed to hear to stop the hurt ‘Cause he was more than a memory That she kept under lock and key And she was more than just a girl She was a light in his dim world

Meiyi she died before her time Leaving behind a love and a child In Diyu’s last court of the afterlife She reached the Naihe Bridge Meng Po greeted her with a bowl A broth inducing amnesia Before her rebirth and return to life She had to forget her past Meiyi couldn’t cope She refused to let go of the joy she once had For how could anyone with a life as good as hers Choose to drink oblivion She wished to cross the bridge with her past life whole A comfort in dark nights to remember home Meng Po insisted to forget and move on Lest the past remains to swallow new hope Confusion and longing would dwell within Sowing a soul of resentment What life would she know once she crossed the bridge How do we manage when pushed by fate Meiyi couldn’t cope How could she let go of the joy she once had Would the memories lift her up or weigh her down In the new life she never asked for Meiyi couldn’t cope But could she let go of the joy she once had ‘Cause even when we’re not ready to move on We have to make a choice
